It is a peer-reviewed journal that has been published twice a year since 1997, and three times a year since 2022. In the magazine, we publish Slovenian recommendations for treating gastrointestinal diseases, comprehensive professional and research articles, and interesting clinical cases from the field of internal medicine, especially gastroenterology, abdominal surgery, coloproctology, pediatrics, radiology, pathology, and family medicine.
The latest published or not yet published research articles in the Slovenian Journal of Gastrointestinal Diseases / Gastroenterolog, which have already been accepted for publication and will be published in one of the future journals.

Slovenian Journal of Gastroenterology/ Gastroenterolog is the newsletter of the Slovenian Association of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
The journal is published three times a year.
The journal follows the uniform criteria for manuscripts intended for publication in peer-reviewed biomedical journals.
The annual subscription for members of the Slovenian Association of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is included in the membership fee.
